The series of digital artistic paintings derive from the recent artistic period of academic artist Martin Avsenik. These digital paintings are created with the help of computer programs for visual creation and modern materials that combine image and light. They allow and enable the artist a new, more flexible way of creating artistic images and presentations.

In search of the artist's new expressive possibilities, the most important fact is the immateriality of the artistic elements, where colours and shapes become mystical light surfaces.
In order to make digital paintings alive in their perfection, the artist has developed and designed special one-sided and wall-mounted light objects, which at the same time represents the background for digital painting and the frame that carries printed works, and functions as an internal light source. The images are illuminated from behind. The light helps to achieve a special glowing effect of colours in the digital painting, which in art can be compared to classic stained-glass window.

The images of digital paintings substantively represent an abstract experience as a reflection of the material and spiritual space, in which the individual's reality, consciousness, thoughts and feelings are being captured. They represent the expression of a human as an integral being, who combines in itself different layers of consciousness. Human layers of consciousness are located in different spaces and at different times, which gives them the importance of multi-dimensionality.

Despite the innovative artistic approach, digital and animated paintings maintain a connection with tradition, since the basic painting concept follows the artist's past periods, which the author upgrades with the possibilities of the present time.
