Project Solar is a contemporary monument to Arabic design, which collides with the idea of combining more traditional design with modern approaches.

Along the synthesis of tradition and innovation also the final solution is unique, because the blend of designs was necessary for coordinated placement with existing surroundings.

The museum's central theme alludes to our solar system. In this manner the exterior design of the museum is consistent with the interior design, since the Planetarium inside the building is one of the key contents of the exhibition.

The project represents a museum, dedicated to the achievements of worldwide civilisations and their culture heritage.

Visitors can reach the building through an enclosed corridor that connects the museum with neighbouring buildings. The corridor is air-conditioned, equipped with travelators that allow visitors easy and pleasant approach to the museum.

There's a public square in front of the museum, serving as a place for open air events related to the content of the museum. The museum is surrounded by a large park with green gardens and artificial water bodies.
