France Godec was a Slovenian academic painter. He was born in 1910 in Ljubljana. He studied at ALU in Zagreb, where he attended the sculpture and painting department. He studied along with famous Slovenian artists such as France Gorše, Matija Jama and Ivan Zajec were. He died in 1996.
