Lucijan Bratuš is a Slovenian academic painter, graphic designer and designer. He was born in 1949 in Vipava. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana, where he obtained a master's degree in graphics from professor Pogačnik. He received the Student Prešeren Award for Graphic Arts and the Prize of the Cultural Community of Slovenia. Today he is a professor of calligraphy and typography at the Ljubljana Academy.
