Miro Kačar is a Slovenian painter. He was born in 1945 in Sorica. He is an honorary citizen of the municipality of Železniki. His works are impressionistically coloured, since his role-model is a master of Slovenian impressionism the now late artist Ivan Grohar. He established the Grohar Homestead in his memory, where he used to lead art workshops. He is also the founding leader of the Grohar Year. He lives and works in Sorica.
