Tomaž Gorjup is a Slovenian academic painter. He was born in 1950 in Ljubljana. He completed his master's degree in painting at Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana. He is a full-time professor of drawing and painting at the Faculty of Education in Ljubljana. He received several awards and recognitions such as the Župančič Award. He had over 100 independent and 400 group exhibitions both at home and abroad. He lives and works in Ljubljana.
