The academic painter Martin Avsenik, a director of the Ars Stduio Avsenik company, held an independent art exhibition »Illuminated Sound Pictures« in Dubai (UAE). The exhibition took place for a whole month in DUCTAC’s Gallery of Light from 6th of October 2010 on. Avsenik introduced his latest artistic project »Illuminated Sound Pictures«, which is an upgrade of his IOS project.

Avsenik has made and presented an animated painting, which is an upgrade to conventional practice of static paintings and presents not only the final art work, but also the process of creating it. The animated painting is accompanied by the song of a British band Hybrid. He also created a visualization of a virtual art gallery, which is accompanied by the music of a Slovenian composer Slavko Avsenik Jr. For the purposes of exhibiting these two artistic works he also developed unique product to display his audio-visual materials and digital art, named UniGlass. Combining art, interior and AV technology led the artist to a collaboration with Projectiondesign company who sponsored the use of a projector F32 1080 to display his artworks.

The exhibition has been well visited and made an impression among the visitors with the innovative approach to the art in general.
